Instant daily use bag
"Initially bought this for a trip so I could have a smaller bag to fit on top of my global roller and absolutely loved it. First thing I did when I got back was transfer everything into this bag and it became my daily bag without question. Easy access, very comfortable strap and room for everything."

"Love the design and colors! Super comfortable strap and just the right size to carry everything for work. I found the straps on the bottom carry my oversized water bottle as well, nice little bonus!"

Order cancelled by Topo
"This bag was on back order. So I clicked the "notify me" button. That's cool. So they notified me that it was off back order and I ordered the bag. Nothing happened for about 10 days. Then I get an email that says "your order is cancelled". No explanation, nothing. I check back on the website and the bag is available to order. Totally disappointing experience. Taking my money elsewhere."

My new favorite bag!
"I have bike commuted with Rover Mini for years. I occasionally need something slightly larger, so bought the Mountain Cross Bag. It's become my go-to bag for work commutes, for travel, and for everyday. I appreciate all the organization and it's comfortable to carry when mostly empty or when stuffed full. Love it!"

Never Travel Without It
"My wife and I travel a lot, usually abroad by plane and train, occasionally domestically by car. In all cases, I never leave home on a trip without this bag. On a plane, it fits under the seat and carries electronics, essential toiletries and meds, a change of clothes, small water bottle, snacks, passport and document wallet, and more. We usually check our main bags (carry-on size), so the Mountain Cross Bag carries what I think I'd need for a day or two if my main bag goes astray. At our destinations, I remove everything not needed for our day's activities, add whatever is, and carry it almost everywhere. If we buy something during the day, it will often fit in the bag (I have put two bottles of wine in it with much space to spare) so that we don't have to carry an extra shopping bag. My bag is now a few years old (still looks great), so it lacks the panel that slips over a roller bag handle. My wife is an expert seamstress, but if she can't add that feature to my bag, I'll probably buy a new Mountain Cross bag."

Almost perfect
"The brown accents on the otherwise all-black bag look terrible to me. The zipper pulls I replaced with something more complementary to black. But couldn’t do anything about the handles. Maybe it’s just my own fashion sensibilities but it clash of light brown with the black makes this an almost-perfect bag instead of a perfect bag."

Loved the bag, but wish it were larger
"Had this bag for a good bit of time for commuting/travel, and loved it overall. The organization options were fantastic! However, in the end, the size was a bit too small. If the bag had been a bit thicker, it would have been perfect. I have switched to the global brief and couldn't be happier. This bag is fantastic, but it gets a bit cramped when you want to commute to campus, carry a couple notebooks, laptop, tablet, and lunch (even more so when you want to include supplies, a hat, and thin coat). I have now fallen in love with the split in size between the global briefcase and the block bag for use case considerations!"
